Skin Mix is a Denver-based med spa founded by Karen Martiz, a licensed esthetician with a reputation for results-driven aesthetic treatments. Karen built her client list on skill and word of mouth—and she’s genuinely good at social media too.
Her Instagram presence is polished, consistent, and engaging.
But skill and social media alone weren’t filling her schedule with the right clients.
The Challenge

Skin Mix ranks 17th overall for the keyword ‘Hydrafacial Denver’, and only shows up in the Google Map Pack in the 1 mile radius around the spa. Making them more or less invisible to the local market for this service.
The Solution
We built and executed a local SEO strategy around three things:
- Google Business Profile optimization — making sure Skin Mix showed up prominently when Denver patients searched for med spa treatments
- Local directory listings — getting Skin Mix listed on relevant, authoritative local directories to build credibility and visibility
- Website and service page optimization — ensuring her site sent the right signals to Google for the keywords her ideal patients were already searching
No paid ads. No social media campaigns. Just showing up in the right place at the right time — when a patient in Denver is already looking for a med spa.
The Results
New Botox clients started booking directly through Google every week. The HydraFacial demand was significant enough that Karen hired a new esthetician to handle it. On top of that, the clients coming in through local search were converting into monthly memberships. At the time of writing, Skin Mix has 25+ active monthly membership sign-ups.
After 4 months, Skin Mix ranks 6th overall for the keyword ‘Med Spa Denver’, and shows up in the Google Map Pack for a 19 mile radius around the med spa. Positioning them as a dominant med spa in the local market and attracting new patient bookings.
After 4 months, Skin Mix ranks 7th overall for the keyword ‘Hydrafacial Denver’, and shows up in the Google Map Pack for a 12 mile radius around the med spa. Positioning them as a dominant provider for this in-demand service locally.
